Locating your RAM truck’s paint code is the first and most important step in your touch up paint project. Only with your paint code on hand can you be certain you are ordering the right touch up paint kit for your RAM truck.

Your Chevrolet paint code can be found in up to 7 locations. Look for the “Service Parts Identification” sticker.

• In the glove box compartment, primarily on the lid.
• In the trunk compartment of the car, either in the compartment itself or in the spare tire well.
• On the driver or passenger side of the car, where the door latches.
• Beneath the driver seat.
• In the wheelhouse of the front passenger tire.
• In the passenger side sun visor.
• On the driver side, in the rear storage compartment, behind the passenger door or partially in the trunk.

Chevrolet paint codes normally start with “BC” or “CC” indicating if the paint is a base coat or a clear coat. If your Chevy is a two-tone car, the letter “U” stands for the upper body color and “L” stands for the lower or bumper color. The information that follows those letters should be a string of 4 numbers.
