Locating your BMW’s paint code is the first and most important step in your touch up paint project. Only with your paint code on hand can you be certain you are ordering the right touch up paint kit for your BMW vehicle.

Your BMW paint code can be found in up to to 5 locations:

• Beneath the hood on the passenger side, by the strut.
• Beneath the hood on the driver side, by the front of the strut tower.
• Beneath the hood, near the very front at the radiator support.
• Beneath the hood on the passenger side of the firewall.
• In the wheelhouse of the front passenger tire.

BMW paint codes often display the name of the color in German or both German and English. The paint color code normally has three digits but also often starts with a letter such as 300 and C10.
